But it has a little two-year-old twist:
I sing: You are holy
Eleanor: you are holy
Me: You are mighty
Eleanor: you are mighty
Me: You are worthy
Eleanor: wordy...
Me: Worthy of praise
Eleanor:
Me: I will follow
Eleanor: NO FOLLOW!
Me: I will listen
Eleanor: NO LISTEN!
Me: I will love you
Eleanor: I love you
Me: All of my days
Eleanor:
That is too funny, Emily! I laughed out loud. What an independent little gal you have there. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat is the CD you keep talking about? Every song that you've mentioned is one that I like. Sounds like something I need in my repertoire.
These are the "Cedarmont Worship for Kids" CDs - we have volumes 1 and 2. Each contains 12 fairly "standard" praise songs (at least, I knew all but one of them), sung by kids, in simple, mostly unison arrangements. They're well-done and not obnoxious to listen to in the car, which is a good thing since Miles doesn't just have a "most requested" list, he has an "only request", so I hear these a LOT. I also find myself walking around the house singing praise songs, which is probably good for me and my attitude as well.
